Thanks for your comment.  I think you may have misread me.  The dark section in this post is by John MacArthur.  Before it I stated how I did not agree with him precisely because I do think the Church is the Israel of God.  I think you meant to say that you disagree with MacArthur.

Thanks for your comment and your concern for your son, it is good to hear a mother so concerned, that tells me you love him very much.  

As for the issue your describing, I would say that your son is called to evangelism (as all Christians are), whether he is good at it or not.  But your son is called to obey Christ&#039;s leading over man&#039;s.  While I agree with your son&#039;s leaders that he should be out witnessing as much as he can, I do think it is wrong to chastise someone for not doing so, unless they are willingly being disobedient to Christ.  If your son could be doing it more and isn&#039;t, he is sinning.  If your son is doing what he can, his leaders are sinning.  My advice?  Keep praying for him, and ask God to move through Him in such a mighty way that it befuddles his leaders!  Thanks again.
